2018-2019: Episode 6

Welcome back readers. Thank you for your patience as we took a week away from the keyboard. As always, there is plenty going on at good old WHS!

Authorfest is back! This Wednesday, October 17, ( Day 7), all English and Social Studies classes will be in the WHS auditorium to hear Dick Lehr who was a Professor of Journalism at Boston University from 1985 – 2003. His latest book is The Birth of a Movement: How Birth of a Nation United the Battle for Civil Rights. Mr. Lehr also wrote the Edgar Award winner and very popular (and very local) Black Mass.  We are excited to have this award winning author visit WHS.

Meet the new Sachem staffers! Please take a second to say hello to Mr. John Coffey from Special Education and  Say hello to Ms. Corinne Glenwerks from our Math department.

WHS student goals for the week of 10/15-10/19: WHS Class of 2022’s Katie Riley + Amelia Lynch…and squad…are ready for the new week and have two worthy goals to keep in mind and focus on achieving. Go for it girls!
