Team WHS Blog: Special Grad Edition!

Season 2: Episode 31

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2017 Graduation Ceremony.  It was a fantastic experience.  Oz, Merlin, Gandalf, Dumbledore and Mr. Miles.  It all makes sense now!

Twitter, @whsmahoney, and our Instagram, whssachems, carried a lot of the events from last week. Additionally, the entire ceremony, can be seen on the WinCam page on Youtube.  Everything, from the small to the large, really went off well and it’s truly a testament to our staff and students.  TONS of videos here!

“If They Had Known”

It will be two years in July that WHS Graduate Clay Soper passed away after using Xanex and Alcohol.  He was at a party, acting a little off but his friends never thought it to be a bad idea for him to lay down and rest and he never woke up.

The Soper family has worked with Emerson College, Mass General and a few others to produce a 30 minutes long documentary that details the events of that night.

The movie will be shown on June 14th at 2:30 (student showing) and 6:30 (community showing) and is free to all.  We hope that you and your student(s) take the time to watch this documentary about a local son.
