Season 2: Episode 28
Welcome back readers!
BIG thank you to our PFA and everyone who contributed to last week’s National Teacher Appreciation Week! I have been told that our luncheon was the largest turnout by our staff in a long time. That is a testament to our growing productive partnership with the PFA and our Winchester Community. We are very thankful for your continued support!
Our seniors are now officially in single digits for days left in their classes!!!!

Dear Families and Friends –
We did it! What A GREAT weekend! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU; THANKS FOR AN INCREDIBLE AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE; WOW!!!!! Many, many thanks to Maura Sullivan, Jenny Rappole and Heather Harris who worked countless hours with me in organizing this trip; thank you! Thanks to all the families who donated supplies for our bus ride! Thank you to Michele Kimpton who assisted with our grant-writing and to Brian Rogers who contacted Channel 4 news about this awesome experience! Thanks to our AWESOME CHAPERONES: Mr. Skinder, Ms, Martin, Ms Haines, Ms. Hession, and Mr Robbat – just perfect!
Thank you to MANY of the Winchester families that came and supported us; WOW!
And MOST of ALL THANKS TO THE STUDENTS; because of your thoughtfulness, kindness, dedication, responsibility, awesome humor and attitude, respect, empathy towards others, helpfulness and love, you made this opportunity both FUN AND EXCITING; thank YOU for making me feel like a billion bucks. My favorite part of the trip was watching and listening to you during the rehearsals in NYC…. you were on point, asked both thoughtful and intelligent questions, worked extremely hard…. but most of all, you sang with love… it was on multiple occasions that I teared up and my heart was filled joy; YOU are making a difference. It is no secret that experiences as these are difficult to organize and plan; however, when you have students as wonderful as I do, it’s all worth it – time and time again.

Our WORLD RANKED Botball team has an event review:
https://instagram.com/p/BThpFxBhfoW/ 30 members of the Winchester Botball Team competed against 17 local teams at the New England regional Botball tournament @ Umass Lowell on Saturday, 04/29. The team scored second in double-elimination, fourth overall, and brought home the Judges Choice trophy for their excellent documentation and on-site presentation. Congratulations and on to GCER in Norman OK!
The WHS Mathletes are making (sine) waves again!
The math team ended up placing 6th in their division. This was our best performance in a few years despite having no seniors on the team and we’re proud of the students for their hard work.
