Team WHS

Season 2: Episode 25

We have a short week this week as there is no school this Friday and next week will be our just-in-time April vacation.  Many of us are looking forward to the currently predicted beautiful weather for this week.  I hope that everyone gets outside to enjoy it.  I am currently staring into my yard as I write this and simultaneously counting the hours of yard clean up I have to do next week.  It looks like I will be busier than I want to be!

As a reminder, our Q3 report cards will be uploaded into Aspen on 4/26 for you to view or download.

SILS 2017
Our WHS 2017 SILS Award Winners Caroline Conway and Mark Bacon

Each year the principals of the schools in the Middlesex League recognize a junior male and female with the SILS Award.  The award recognizes students for Service, Integrity, Leadership and Spirit.  This year, the award recipients were nominated by our faculty members.  Caroline Conway and Mark Bacon were two worthy recipients of this year’s SILS award.  We congratulate them and look forward to continuing to see them grow and lead by example at WHS.

Here is the link to my email and article that I shared with students last Friday.

Our WHS after school yoga classes continue to grow!  The good news for anyone on the fence about trying it is that we will continue to grow the program with demand.  Right now we are operating every Monday and Wednesday in room C209 right after school.    See Mr. Mahoney with any questions.

Check out the upcoming fundraiser  by WHS Alum Matt Mangano.  Matt is looking for volunteers for Sunday April 30th to help with his Clothes4All fundraiser.  Please email Matt at mangano8@yahoo.com if you are interested.
